Our Mission
Empowering Women to Excel
Women’s Financial Association is an organization dedicated to promoting the success of women with a passion for finance at Indiana University, Bloomington. We are comprised of approximately 100 members. In our WFA family, we expose members to finance, provide networking opportunities, and build lifelong friendships.
By joining the Women's Financial Association, you will be opening yourself up to a network of young women who will support and encourage you on your journey throughout Kelley and beyond. Some specific benefits of joining WFA include:
Networking Opportunities
WFA hosts corporate events throughout each semester, as well as a corporate trip, providing its members with opportunities to connect with companies and refine their networking skills. We also have a networking program that helps underclassmen connect with upperclassmen.
Professional Development
WFA provides several opportunities for members to gain professional skills. We help our members with their resumes and LinkedIns through workshops. We also host etiquette dinners and mock interview sessions.
Expand Your Social Circle
WFA creates a strong network of peers for our members throughout their journey in college and beyond. We host social events each month for our members to network and strengthen their relationships.
Mentorship
All members of WFA will receive a mentor that can help guide them in both their professional and personal journey. We love to see our underclassmen grow into such strong and independent leaders!
