Our Committees
Financial Literacy
The Financial Literacy Committee educates our members about finance by organizing informational events on potential careers, planning technical interview workshops, and keeping members informed about relevant news events and key financial concepts.
Corporate Relations
The Corporate Relations Committee establishes new relationships and sustains existing partnerships with our corporate sponsors, working collaboratively to organize networking events and promote various opportunities each semester.
Professional Development
The Professional Development Committee empowers our members to be confident in their careers by coordinating events to encourage professional growth, including resume, LinkedIn, and behavioral interview workshops.
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee aims to promote and develop a culture of collaboration and inclusion in the organization and beyond. They host diversity team-building events, invite diverse speakers, and encourage conversation.
Recruitment & Membership
The Recruitment and Membership Committee coordinates the upperclassmen/underclassmen mentorship program for our members, as well as oversees the recruitment process for potential new applicants.
Community Service
The Community Service Committee plans events and initiatives to benefit both the Indiana University campus and Bloomington community. Past events have been in partnership with organizations such as Girls, Inc. and Hoosier Hills Food Bank.
Marketing
The Marketing Committee promotes WFA's social media brand on Instagram, LinkedIn, and this website, as well as creates all marketing materials for events, ranging from recruitment to our summer programs.
Member Wellness
The Member Wellness Committee is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of our members through the coordination of monthly social events and the implementation of mental health and wellness initiatives.
Campus & Faculty Relations
The Campus and Faculty Relations Committee serves as the liaison between the Women's Financial Association and the Indiana University faculty, as well as collaborates with other campus organizations.
Fund
The Fund Committee manages our organization's new investment fund.
Alumnae Relations
The Alumnae Relations Committee maintains relationships with WFA alumnae by organizing events with past members, managing the alumnae database and mentorship program, and producing the yearly alumnae newsletter.
Project
The Project Committee plans both our Finance for All Conference and yearly case competition.
